Mindfulness is a simple form of meditation which helps people to cope and manage better with daily stresses. Mindfulness sessions have been running at the University for quite some time and have had fantastic feedback from staff who say it really helps them clear their minds from the busy working day. This session runs every week.

There weren't enough mats for everybody who had booked to attend the session to use. I had to lay on the floor which hurt my head so I couldn't relax and focus on the session. The alternative was sitting on a chair but, as I do that for 7 hours a day when working, I couldn't relax sitting on a chair either.
